Put your
hard drive to sleep when you step away from your computer. This stops
you from having to remember to power off every time you go to lunch.
Right-click your desktop. Choose Active Desktop. Choose Customize my
Desktop. In the Display Properties dialog box, choose the Screen Saver
tab. Select the Energy Settings button. Choose a power scheme. The
various settings determine how long your computer will wait before going
to sleep. Click OK. |
